Thomas A. Weaver holds a PhD in Physics from UC Berkeley and was awarded an E. O. Lawrence Award by the US Secretary of Energy for his research on stellar evolution and x-ray lasers. He has written articles for Scientific American, Ascent Magazine, and Reviews of Modern Physics. He studied yoga with Swami Sivananda Radha from 1984 until her passing in 1995.
